Q. Do you have any age restrictions?
We welcome riders over the age of 6 years.
Q: Do I need to bring my own riding hat?
Hats are available to hire at a small cost of £2 per ride, however we do advice that you purchase your own hat should you intend to ride regularly.
Q: What clothing should I wear?
Hat: A riding hat may be hired from us but you're welcome to use your own hat, if it meets the current standard.
Footwear: We do not provide riding boots and recommend that you wear a boot with a small heel.
Not open toed sandles or shoes/boots with heavy tread. I.E walking boots. These may get stuck in the stirrup.
Clothing: Full length trousers are required for horse riding. Long sleeved tops are advisable but not essential during hot weather.
Q: Do I need to be an experienced rider to join a hack?
No we take beginner riders too but the more information we have about you i.e height, weight and level of fitness, allows us to partner you with a suitable horse.
Q: Can I bring my own horse on a hack with you?
Please contact us for further details. Your horse will need to be up to date with its vaccinations and have a passport. You will be required to have your own insurance to cover you for public liability whilst riding your own horse.
Q: Are you open all year round and in all weather conditions?
Yes we are open all year round.
Q: What are your criteria for accepting riders?
Riders must be:
Over the age of 6 years.
Must not be intoxicated with any illegal substance or legal highs
Must wear a hat* and clothing appropriate for horse riding
Must not show any aggression towards our horses
*riders may wear their own hat if to current standard or hire one from us at £2 per ride.
Q: Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes! If you would like to give a horse lover a great gift, we offer vouchers for £40, £80 and £120. These also enable you to pay for horse riding in advance.

Q:What are your opening hours?
We are open between Tuesday and Sunday 11:00 - 17:00.
To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend that you contact us prior to visiting, as we are usually booked in advance, particularly in the summer season.
